Located in the centre of Amsterdam on the river Amstel, The Amsterdam Music Theatre seats 1600 and is one of the most prominent large theatres in Europe. It is home not only to the Dutch National Ballet but also to De Nederlandse Opera. Both companies have their own rehearsal studios there, and it is where they give nearly all their premieres. The comfortable seats, good sightlines and spacious foyers with excellent refreshment bars are the most striking facilities of The Amsterdam Music Theatre.
