biography
Jozef Varga (Nove Zamky, Slovak Republic) was awarded the Alexandra Radius Prize at the beginning of 2010. Following his career with the Czech Ballet in Prague and the Swiss Zürcher Ballett, he joined the Dutch National Ballet in 2007, where he immediately received a contract as a principal.
Jozef trained at the Conservatoire for Dance in Bratislava in his homeland, and at the Académie de Dance Classique Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo.
Besides the Alexandra Radius Prize, he has also won awards at several international ballet competitions.
