Emanouela Merdjanova (grand sujet) will join our company again after a year’s leave of absence (Finnish National Ballet).
Krista Ettlinger (corps de ballet) from the USA, joined Boston Ballet II in 2006 and in 2007 she became a member of the corps de ballet with Boston Ballet. Her performance experience includes: Boston Ballet’s La Sylphlike, Nutcracker and Giselle (in which she danced the role of Myrtha), Falling Angels (Jiri Kylian), Romeo&Juliet (John Cranko) and further many ballets of Mr. B.
She received awards including: First place (female) Division III at the American Ballet Competition and Jackson International Ballet Competition (finalist).
Antonina Tchirpanlieva (corps de ballet) was born in Bulgaria and received her education at the National School for Dance Arts in Bulgaria and the John Cranko School in Stuttgart. In 2005 she joined Stuttgarter Ballet and in 2006 Staatsballett Berlin. Her repertoire includes: Bayadere, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Esmeralda, Giselle and more. She performed with SemperOper Dresden, Central Theater Esslingen and danced Don Quichot with our company last season.
Vlad Ilcenco (corps de ballet) studied at the high school of Choreography in Bucharest and the Heinz Bosl Stiftung in Munich. Vlad has danced with the Bucharest National Opera, English National Ballet and recently with Croatian National Ballet Theatre in Split. His performance experience includes: Ballet Russes, Albrecht in Giselle, Basil in Don Quichot, Jose, Escamillio in Carmen, Nutcracker, Bolero, La Bayadere and others. Vlad has participated in different Festivals and Competitions including the National Romanian Ballet Olympics and won the 1st prize. He has the Romanian Nationality.
Sebastien Galtier (corps de ballet) was born in France and graduated at the Ecole Nationale de danse de Marseille/Roland Petit and studied at the Conservatoire de Nice. In 2002 he joined Stuttgart Ballet and has danced various corps de ballet and soloist roles, including: Wilfried in Giselle (Reid Anderson), Count Paris in Romeo and Juliet (John Cranko), Mouse King in Nutcracker (Marco Goecke). Sebastien toured with the Stuttgarter Ballet to several cities in Europe as well as Bangkok, Singapore, USA, Japan and South Korea.
Young Gyu Choi (corps de ballet) received his education at the SunHwa Arts School, Tanz Akademie Zurich and the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul. He has danced with the Korean National Ballet and danced with Universal Ballet as a guest Artist. His repertoire includes: Romeo and Julia, La Sylphide, Corsaire, Don Quichot, Esmeralda, Coppelia and Sleeping Beauty.
Young-Gyu has participated in several International Ballet competitions including: Varna (Gold medal), Vienna (Gold medal) Berlin (Gold medal) Seoul (Silver medal) and Youth America Grand Prix (Gold medal) in New York. He has the Korean Nationality.

Davit Vardanyan (corps de ballet) from Armenia studied at the Armenian National Ballet school/Arminian National Theater and John Cranko Schule in Stuttgart. He danced with Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landestheater in Germany and in 2007 he joined Dresden SemperOper Ballet. His repertoire includes: Coppelia (Stela Korljan), Nutcracker (Neumeier), La Bayadere (Watkin/Petipa), Six Dance (Jiri Kylian), The Second Detail (Forsythe) and others. In 2010 he was a finalist at the International Competition in Istanbul.
Ge Gao (eleve) graduated at the Beijing Dance Academy and danced with China’s National Ballet. Achievements/prizes: Gold award winner of 3rd Beijing International Ballet Competition, Bachelor of Beijing Dance Academy outstanding student and Silver medal at the Dance Competition in China. Gao is Chinese.
Rohan Dunham (élève) from the Netherlands studied at the Koninklijk Conservatoire In Den Hague and joined Zurcher Ballet in 2010. Achievements/prizes: Stichting Dansersfonds national encouragement prize - young dancer of the year 2007.
Michelle Murphy (adspirant) was born in Canada and has danced with us on short-term contracts last season. Michelle graduated from the Canadian National Ballet School and trained at the National Ballet Academy here in Amsterdam.
Clotilde Tran-Phat (adspirant) studied at the Paris Opera Ballet School. Her Nationality is French.
Martina Verbeni (adspirant) received her training at the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the John Cranko School in Germany. Martina is Italian.
Hannah Grennell (adspirant) received her education at the Royal Ballet School. She has the British Nationality.
Remy Catalan (adspirant) was born in Holland but has a dual Nationality French/Dutch. He studied at the Paris Opera Ballet School and the National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam.
Stephanie Williams (corps de ballet) received her education at the Australian Ballet School, danced with the Australian Ballet Company and guest with the Wheeldon Company Morphoses. In her relative short career she has danced Lilac Fairy in the Sleeping Beauty, Black Swan pas de deux, Dyad (by Wayne McGregor), Por Vos Muero (by Nacho Duato), Les Sylphides, Symphonie Fantastique (by Krzysztof Pastor), After the Rain (by Wheeldon) and others. Stephanie is from Australia.
Rebecca Oltheten (corps de ballet) danced with us before in different long evening productions. Her Nationality is Dutch.
Anouk Nelemans (adspirant) received her training at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Hague and the National Academy in Amsterdam. She is Dutch.
