No fewer than five Dutch National Ballet principals have been ranked highly in the top 100 dancers in the world by dance magazine Dance Europe. They are Cédric Ygnace (14th), Remi Wörtmeyer (15th), Jurgita Dronina (17th), Casey Herd (20th) and Anu Viheriäranta (21st). The jury of the monthly magazine thought they were among the best dancers of 2010-2011.
In 17th place was Marijn Rademaker, who is dancing with the Dutch National Ballet this season as a regular guest.
Ivan Vasiliev of the Bolshoi Ballet took first place.
