Six Dutch National Ballet dancers have been included in the annual top 100 of the leading dance magazine Dance Europe. On the list for the 2011-2012 theatre season are: Jurgita Dronina, Matthew Golding, Igone de Jongh, Anna Tsygankova, Jozef Varga and Cédric Ygnace (who ended his dancing carer in July 2012). Igone de Jongh is the only Dutch dancer in the top 100. Alina Cojocaru was voted best dancer.
The top 100 was compiled by a jury of 22 Dance Europe correspondents, supplemented by 16 international guest jury members. Each member of the jury compiled a personal top 10 of the dancers they felt had given outstanding performances in the past dance season.
