The Dutch National Ballet is taking the production of Giselle on tour to Bilbao, Alcobendas (near Madrid) and Valencia. First, the company will be a guest in Bilbao (Teatro Arriaga) on Friday 12, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 April. There will then be a performance in Alcobendas on Tuesday 16 April, followed by performances in Valencia (Teatro Principal) on Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April.
The company is dancing the new production of Giselle by Beaujean/Bustamante, which had a very successful premiere in 2009 and was revived in 2012 for the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the Dutch National Ballet.
