The cooperation with companies and organisations gives the Dutch National Ballet more opportunity to fulfil long-dreamed-of projects, such as new, full-length ballet productions, international tours and educational activities.
In recent years, the Dutch National Ballet has worked with a great many Dutch companies. For example, Euronext has been sponsoring our company for over eight years, IBM and Shell have made it possible to give several educational performances for schoolchildren, Thalys has provided the transport for the dancers of the Dutch National Ballet to performances in Dijon, Transavia flew the company to Barcelona, advertising agency PPGH/JWT designed the Dutch National Ballet’s new corporate identity, and ING made it possible to produce a whole new version of Don Giovanni, the ballet by resident choreographer Krzysztof Pastor.
PricewaterhouseCoopers sponsored the prestigious Hans van Manen Festival (2007) and the tribute programme Rondom Rudi van Dantzig.
