For performances that are sold out, it is sometimes still possible to get a ticket through the stand-by system. One hour before curtain-up, you can get a number from one of the windows of The Amsterdam Music Theatre box office. Any tickets that have not been picked up half an hour before curtain-up are then sold to the holders of the numbers, with a maximum of two tickets per person.
Performances in The Amsterdam Music Theatre begin promptly, so please ensure you arrive on time. Visitors who have arrived after curtain-up cannot be admitted into the auditorium until after the interval. Latecomers can watch the performance on a monitor in the foyer. After the interval, if there is one, latecomers may then take their seats in the auditorium.
Special cushions to give children a better view of the performance are available from The Amsterdam Music Theatre cloakroom. Children/young people under seventeen are eligible for the same discount as CJP pass holders.
The Amsterdam Music Theatre has a special lift and disabled toilets. There are several seats in the stalls designated for wheelchair users and their companions.
