TED BRANDSEN ON THE JURY OF PRIX DE LAUSANNE
Special invitation for Dutch National Ballet Artistic Director
Ted Brandsen, Artistic Director of the Dutch National Ballet, formed part of the jury of the 37th edition of the prestigious Prix de Lausanne competition, which took place this year from 27 January to 1 February in the Swiss city. Brandsen had previously been on the jury in 2005. Brandsen: ‘I was honoured to be asked to be on the jury of this prestigious competition again.’
The Prix de Lausanne is intended to provide an opportunity for young dance talent from all over the world to pit themselves against each other. Alongside the Varna Competition in Bulgaria, the Prix de Lausanne is one of the most important ballet competitions in the world.
